WordExam currently has a vocabulary base that includes 3,500 words from every field, sociology, science, arts, history, business and finance etc.
Vocabulary exams are constructed under 6 categories; Elementary school, High school, University/College, Professionals, Daily English, Test takers. Depending on educational background and purpose, English learners can select the category that describes them most.
During the the sing-up process, you will be asked to provide a dictionary website of your own choice. In the space provided, you may put down a website that makes English-to-English translations, or translations to your mother tongue. For example; English-to-Italian, English-to-Spanish, English-to-Italian, English-to-Chinese, English-to-Turkish, English-to-Arabic etc.
Once you have selected your category and signed- up, WordExam provides you with short 10 questions exam sets. The results of all the tests you have done from the start will be recorded for your reference. You can always check your history and compare your progress on your own. Words that you have trouble learning will not be discarded, but rather will be kept and asked on the later exams. Our program will allow you to pass the set of words you failed to learn in the past, if you successfully answer them right three times in the future exams. This way you'll be sure that you have full command over any word. Each WordExam user has his own study record and software setting which is saved automatically when you quit the program.
