The conception of the idea of creating a website solely for the purpose of building vocabulary was realized in November 2006. After the initial idea, work has started by a group of english teachers and computer engineers to design the format of the new website. The initial group later on expanded to a network of colleagues in various countries.
Improving vocabulary knowledge of new learners who have different educational backgrounds and varying purposes to learn English was the main motivation for WordExam builders. Finding much more simplified and productive methods to learn English, in an increasingly interdependant world, became our aspiration.
WordExam is a live experiment. We are continuously in an effort to upgrade the vocabulary basis, question types and our interactive software to better serve English learners all around the world.
